"VERY EXCITED. CAN'T WAIT TO OPEN IT

It'll cost folks 200 bucks plus the
cost of an AT&T contract. The Net
result isn't a cheaper phone.

And within hours of the launch came
news of a worm in the apple. A global
software problem prevented some phones
from being fully activated in the
store. Buyers were told to connect the
phones from their home computers
instead.

News of the bug spread fast.

The glitch even caused problems with
users of the old iphone ..trying to get
a software upgrade . Leading some
buyers to think twice.

Comfortable tonight with lows in the

Orioles vs. Braves The Braves put the rookie right :00 hander on the mound in his home pro
debut and the 23rd round draft pick was
every bit as good as advertised.

Hodges was in complete control
from the start as he struck out eight
Bluefield batters and tossed a complete
game two hitter. He only faced the
minimum of 21 batters in seven innings
of incredibly efficient work.

The son of former major leaguer
Ron Hodges is now 3 and 1 on the season
with an earned run average of zero
point six-oh.

Hodges got all the run support he
would need in the bottom of the first
inning as the Braves brought home two *CG final Bluefield runs.

0 Danville beat Bluefield Danville 3-to-nothing lastnight as Hodges got

3 the two hit shutout.

CASEY HODGES = 2 HITTER The Braves are currently in first

place in the Appalachian League's east
division.

That's what the winning bidder paid
for John Lennon's handwritten lyrics
for the song, "Give Peace a Chance,"

Those lyrics, along with various other
pop and rock memorabilia went up for
auction yesterday in London.

Gail Renard sold the lyrics... she was
with Lennon when he wrote them in a
Montreal hotel suite during John and
Yoko's historic "Bed In" back in 19-
