with soliciting a minor for sex after a
police sting.

when a tanker truck carrying more
than 11-thousand gallons of gas flipped
and burst into flames.
The driver says he swerved when
he saw some metal debris on the road
ahead of him, and lost control.
He escaped with only minor
injuries.
No one else was hurt.
State troopers say that if the
accident had happened during rush hour,
it would have been "disastrous."
The E-P-A says the explosion
didn't damage the environment, because
the gas burned so fast.

Out West, people there are
dealing fire of a different kind.
In Paradise, California,
thousands of evacuees are returning to
their homes.
FireOfficials say calmer winds,
higher humidity and extra firefighters
are helping in the battle against the
flames.
About 20 thousand firefighters
are fighting more than 320 active fires
around the state.
More fires have been burning at
one time this year than any other
period in California history.

Waltrip would go for a ride through the
infield grass after getting tapped by

he came into the pits, thought he had a
bad tire, turned out to be a broken
splitter on the front of the car.
