<< Good evening, I'm meteorologist
Robin Reed in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. The biggest weather threat has
come from the high UV index as a result
of our bright sunny afternoons. High
pressure will continue to build east
out of the Mississippi Valley and park
overhead this week, allowing little
more than some fair-weather cloudiness.
With an easterly flow, moisture
content will slowly start to increase
as the week progresses, so it will feel
a bit more humid as the week goes on.
Afternoon highs should manage mid to
upper 80s each afternoon. We stay
partly to mostly sunny until Friday,
when models are hinting at a
retrograding low moving into the
Tennessee valley. This would offer the
chance for a shower or two through the
weekend. Not all models agree. Some
have the showers holding off until
Sunday. We'll monitor this and keep you
posted. Either way, the low would be
intercepted by a cold front late in the
weekend. The best chances for showers
appears to be Sunday and Monday.

wind. High: 87 WEDESDAY NIGHT: Mostly

Jay Shafer constructs little
houses that range from 70 feet to 1000-
square feet.
This past weekend in Seattle he
held a seminar to teach people how to
design and construct their own tiny
homes.
Shafer says living in a small
home is good both for the environment
and for finances. Utility bills are
miniscule, and rent and mortgage woes
are a thing of the past.
The only disadvantage he can
think of? Not being able to have a
large party.
