neighboring shops.

Road Plaza shortly after six o'clock


last night.


They had to cut a hole through
the roof to get to the fire which
started in a back storage room.


No one was in the furniture
store...but people were in the Plaza

door.

Kaine expects to announce a third round
of state budget cuts later this month.


He's already called for cuts

new crime-fighting equipment.

known as a ground penetrating radar.


The 60-thousand dollar device
uses antennas to detect any unusual

hidden burial.


Because of the high price, most

Hirsbrunnerin the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. Big-time heat is just around
the corner Monday brings back slightly
more heat and humidity. Highs are
forecast near 90 with mostly sunny
skies. Mostly clear Monday night, but
not as comfortable. Lows are slated in
the upper 60s.


Tuesday is the hottest day of the
current "heat wave" as highs push the
upper 90s! Records will be threatened
all across the NEWS7 viewing area.
Danville may see a high near 101
degrees, which would break the old
record of 99 set in 1991. Skies will be
mostly sunny Tuesday with just a few
fair weather clouds.


Wednesday will also be hot with highs
near the low and mid 90s. Keep in mind
the humidity will be rather high.
There's a 30% chance of showers and
storms Wednesday, otherwise partly
sunny.


Unsettled weather, but cooler
temperatures, are expected Thursday and
Friday.


MONDAY: Sunny and warm. High: 91
