one piece of the puzzle involving an
e-coli outbreak at Rockbridge County
boy scout camp.

VO-NAT Health officials confirm at least
11 of the 25 confirmed cases at the
Goshen Reservation are linked to a
recall of frozen hamburger products.
The beef came from California, a
company called: S & S Foods.
Meanwhile, the number of sick
children keeps going up.
84 people now report having
symptoms.
Eight children were also
hospitalized.
The Virginia Department of Health
says it is still investigating, because
not all of the cases are related to the
recall.

Randall Lee Smith has been ruled
accidental.

Smith was being held there for
allegedly shooting two men in the
Jefferson National Forest in May.
He wrecked a stolen truck as he
fled the crime scene.
Smith was taken to Carilion
Roanoke Memorial Hospital, then
released three days later.
The day after that Smith was
found unresponsive in his cell.
Officers performed C-P-R, but he
was later pronounced dead at a hospital
in Pulaski.
The medical examiner determined
Smith died as a result of complications
from the injuries in the crash.
Scott Johnston and his friend
Sean Farmer survived the ordeal.

identified a man found dead in an Old
Southwest neighborhood.

A fuel spill caused a Los Angeles
freeway to shut down this morning.
The California Highway Patrol
says the axle on a big rig pierced the

years ago when it was less than a
hundred.

new dorm which will house more than 200
students.
