SO BEING DR. DEATH HELPS YOU?

IN A WAY.

The Prosecutor who put Kevorkian behind
bars sees it as another form of

suicide.

(SOT: DAVID GORCYCA/PROSECUTOR)

"I THINK IT IS POLITICAL SUICIDE, I
DON'T THINK HE HAS A PRAYER."

Kevorkian's longtime attorney --
believes in him

(SOT: GEOFFREY FIEGER/KEVORKIAN'S

FORMER ATTORNEY)

"AND I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY SAY , HE
WENT TO JAIL, HE HELPED PEOPLE DIE HE
JUST

BELIEVES IN FREEDOM, THAT MAN IS A
TRUE PATRIOT.

Up against an incumbent Republican and
a Democrat, Kevorkian is an
Independent

who doesn't believe in parties.

(SOT: KEVORKIAN )

PARTY IS LIKE A RELIGION, IT STRAIGHT
JACKETS YOUR MIND."

We'll see if Michigan minds are open to
giving Dr. Death a new life in

Washington.

Last year the Pirates came into Lane

falling 17 to 7.

The end of the month meeting
with the Hokies in Charlotte is another
chance to pull the big upset, with a
