Roanoke restaurant has died.

VO-NAT E.C. Warren, seen here from an
NO SUPER! interview in 2004, owned the Roanoker
restaurant for several decades.

His father opened the business in
19-41.

Warren began working there when
he was eight, eventually becoming the
owner.

Back in 2004, he sold most of the
restaurant to his longtime manager
Butch Craft.

Warren died yesterday morning at
the age of 62 after a brief illness.

anniversary of the area's most
nortorious and unsolved crime.

murdered in their Oak Level home on
August 15, 2002.

Their eight-year-old daughter
Jennifer was missing.

That led to a nationwide search
which ended a month later when
Jennifer's remains were found beneath a
bridge in Rockingham County, North
Carolina.

Verizon and both Employee Unions.

striking.

As of yesterday afternoon, both
sides have consented to a three year
deal that includes wage increases that
total 10 point five percent over the
next three years.

There's also a change in
retirement coverage.

thousand employees - 900 of them in
this area.
