A West Virginia man was killed and his passenger seriously injured following
an accident on Interstate 81 this afternoon in Montgomery County. (CORRECTION:
PULASKI CO.)
State police 41- year- old David Lee Mason, of McDowell County, West
Virginia, was killed.
Police say the front tire on Mason's truck blew out, the truck then ran over
an embankment and flipped on its top.
His passenger was transported to Radford Community Hospital.

He calls funding for housing for the mentally ill an investment.

The company does not make steam engines, but a number of them are in the
shop, since workers like repairing them in their spare time.

terrible problems for most of the men in Los Angeles.
The woman turns out to be Jennifer Beals, and she always seems to be wearing
blue.
The mystery isn't much, but there's more to this movie than the mystery. It
takes place in the 40's in central Los Angeles, and the atmosphere that Carl
Franklin has created is heavy with racism, and a poignant foreshadowing of the
violent times that lay ahead. Franklin keeps the movie moving so fast it's
sometimes hard to follow, and all of Walter Mosley's eccentric characters have
been re-created perfectly... Especially easy's friend, Mouse... played by
Don Cheadle...who has a
trigger finger like a modern urban crazy and an unshakable loyalty to
his friend.

Irvan returned to Winston Cup Racing this afternoon for the first time since
his near fatal crash at Michigan.
In the Texaco Havoline number 88 Ford, Irvan moved from the 8-th spot to as
high as second place.
Several different drivers led the race.
Jeff Gordon takes his turn and Irvan was running second at the time.
But Dale Jarrett, who passed Ricky Rudd, put the number 28 Texaco Havoline
Ford on the point at the halfway mark of the race.
Dale Earnhardt went to the pits on the green flag and by the time he got out
he was a lap down.
Jarrett was running in the top five but he spins out on lap 369 bringing out
the second caution.
But Martin made his move after the caution and he cruised the rest of the
way winning the Holly Farms 500.
