It took rescuers an hour to free the first of the three surviving victims, one of whom was partially trapped between the rock face and the car.
Lifeguard- 10 airlifted two people to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Witnesses say Jones was sitting in the living room of a house on Signal Hill Avenue when a man in a hooded sweatshirt barged through the front door.

He died later at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Police are still investigating.

Circuit Judge Ray Grubbs appointed Floyd County prosecutor Gino Williams, who will review the report and decide whether any further investigation or charges are warranted.

The focal point of the activities: The unveiling of a portrait in memory of long-time Mornin Show host Irv Sharp.
Artist Eric Fitzpatrick and Irv's widow, Mary Lee Sharp did the honors before a crowd of family, friends, and W-D-B-J employees, past and present.
After the portrait's unveiling, General Manager Bob Lee was presented with the station's 40th Anniversary Quilt.
Lee says the celebration was a good time to remember Cousin Irv's contributions to Roanoke television.
