Artist Eric Fitzpatrick and Irv's widow, Mary Lee Sharp did the honors
before a crowd of family, friends, and W-D-B-J employees, past and present.
After the portrait's unveiling, General Manager Bob Lee was presented with
the station's 40th Anniversary Quilt.
Lee says the celebration was a good time to remember Cousin Irv's
contributions to Roanoke television.
