They're NOT exactly Friday and Gannon.
Morgan Freeman is Somerset, the old timer who is literate, intelligent, and
burned out.
Pitt is Detective Mills, his replacement. He's new to the force that patrols
these mean streets.
Gyneth Paltrow plays Mill's sensitive wife...not exactly a tough role.
In "Seven", a grossly fat man is found murdered. Somerset catches on early
that a serial killer is at work basing his grisly crimes on Milton's list of
the seven deadly sins.
The clinical way the movie shows the murder scenes makes them all the more
horrible.
'Seven's suspense is relentless. The cinematography is great and Kevin
Spacey is the scariest psychopath since Hannibel Lechter.
This harrowing and stunning film gets an "A-". But it's not for the faint of
heart or weak of stomach.
