The issue of race has taken center stage in Halifax, where a lawyer running
for Commonwealth's attorney is accusing the incumbent of using "race" against
him.
Last week, News 7 profiled Commonwealth's Attorney John Greenbacker and his
opponent William Bryant Claiborne.
Greenbacker is

But he says he will NOT get an opportunity to promote his views on October
16th.
That's when a Neighborhood Watch group wanted to hold a forum, but now can't
because Claiborne is NOT able to attend.
Greenbacker says... organizers informed him Claiborne will be attending the
"Million Man" march in Washington organized by controversial Nation of Islam
leader Louis Farahkan.
Greenbacker says he questions Claiborne's reason for NOT attending because
there were only three debates scheduled before the election.
