A Winn Dixie employee there that night did not see the crime, but said twice she heard someone yell "shoot him".
White's 16- year old girlfriend, who's charged as an accessory, was called to the stand.
Numerous letters written to Alicia Carter from White were presented as evidence.
White's mother and Uncle were in the courtroom.

The meetings are in response to the incident where Blacksburg police shot a man they were trying to arrest.

Over at the Roundhouse tonight, The Roanoke Express opened the East Coast Hockey League season against the state rival the Richmond Renegades.

And the Express went to work. Jeff Jestadt clears the puck from behind the net and Jason Clarke scores the goal Roanoke led 1 to nothing.
But the Renegades came back a minute later Kurt Mallett gets in front of the net and scores the goal and the game was tied at 1 to 1.
The Express answered when Jeff SUPER=34-Roanoke/==3/Richmond/==6;

Jablonski gets free in front of the Renegade net and scores to make it 2 to 1 Express but Richmond wins it 6 to 3.
