The 17- year- old is accused of killing Anthony Scott Whitlock during a drive by shooting in February at Westside trailer court.

Defense attorneys, however, argued Newman did not own the vehicle and the windows were tinted.

Circuit Judge James Ingram denied the request saying the majority of the media coverage happened when the crime occurred more than a year ago.

A suspended South Carolina high school student killed himself after he alledgely went on a shooting spree in his school yesterday morning.

Police say 16-year-old Toby R. Sin-cino came to school armed with a handgun and shot a teacher in the FACE. Then, he went to a teacher's workroom where ANOTHER teacher collapsed and died.
It was NOT clear if she had been shot, but an initial examination did not reveal any wounds on her body.
Sin-cino then tried to get into the school's office before he shot and killed himself.
The wounded teacher was in serious but stable condition at a local hospital.

Mr. Clinton will visit Williamsburg for a few hours today to speak to the Business Council ... a group of one-hundred leaders of the nation's largest companies.
The president is scheduled to give a seven-15 p-m speech to the council's annual meeting at the Williamsburg Lodge Conference Center.
