May was found guilty of the crime this morning.

charge of first degree murder.
He was accused of shooting 31- year- old Vickie Michelle Nichols twice in

Police say he and 14- year- old Kevin Warren were PLAYING with a loaded gun
when it went off.
The incident happened Wednesday morning at 4-50 Henry Street.
Police say Warren died about an hour later at a Danville hospital.

The Commonwealth's Attorney says he will re- try the case against Kevin
Chase Newman.
The 17- year- old is accused of killing Anthony Scott Whitlock during a
drive- by shooting in February at Westside trailer court.
Prosecutors told the jury Newman was in the car and pulled the trigger.
Defense attorneys, however, argued Newman did not own the vehicle and the
windows were tinted.

murder of his wife.

Scotty Overby is accused of RAPING and MURDERING his wife, Sheila Ann
Stafford, in August.
The two were separated, but Overby had invited Stafford to his trailer.
He told investigators he became angry when his wife told hime she was seeing

The judge sent the charges to the grand jury which meets later this month.

interstate 75 near Lexington, Kentucky.
The tombstone hit the windshield of a passing van and killed a teenage girl
riding in the van.
Kentucky State Police are now looking for three suspects and say the death
will be treated as a homicide.

the eyes.
The bullet went straight through her brain and lodged itself in the back of
her skull.
The young woman says she was depressed because her husband was spending too
much time at work.
