Authorities say a man accused of stalking his girlfriend killed her and then committed suicide.

Police were called to 407 Hanover Avenue in Roanoke last night- after a man apparently told a family member he had killed his girlfriend.
When police arrived they found 26- year- old Larry William Mack with a self inflicted gunshot wound.

Police then searched the Valleypointe area of Roanoke County where they found the body of a woman in shrubbery at a construction site.

Last weekend Mack was arrested for allegedly stalking his girlfriend-
Mack was also facing five other charges, including assault and battery and shooting into a vehicle.
He was out on bond on the assault charge, but a hearing was scheduled today to have his bond revoked.
