Citizens echoed the same arguments for and against a new McDonalds drive- thru restaurant at Oak Grove Plaza.
Opponents named increased traffic and safety hazards at the top of their list of grievances.
But McDonalds promises to construct the drive- thru within the building, and to put up a caution sign and railing for pedestrians-- helped win approval by the county board of supervisors.
Local McDonalds owner Mike Grimm says he's excited about building the new restaurant-- which will include a playground for children.
