The driver of the school bus that was broadsided by a train in Illinois
Wednesday told investigators she had no warning of the impending collison.
The woman said there was so much noise on the bus.. that she never heard
the train, the train whistle, or warnings from students.
Two more of the students died yesterday, raising the total killed to
seven.
The engineer on the train told investigators he saw the bus stop on the
tracks.. blew his horn, and used an emergency brake.. but couldn't stop the
train in time.
