Henrico Police say 31- year old Brad McCombie abducted a convenience store clerk early this morning during an armed robbery in Lynchburg.
Police say McCombie then apparently dumped the clerk off unharmed at an exit off Interstate 64 in the Richmond area.

(( Brad McCombie was already wanted on felony burglary charges in Campbell County when he allegedly robbed the Buzz In Market on Waterlick Road Tuesday night.
In making his getaway, McCombie fired several shots at a sheriff's deputy before fleeing into the woods. Several hours later, police say McCombie was at it again, this time holding up the Stop In Food Mart on Campbell Avenue, and taking the store clerk hostage.
McCombie and 22- year- old Michael Dorsey then got into Dorsey's own car and drove east towards Richmond.

(( Christopher Shawn Wheeler has been held at the Christiansburg Juvenile Detention Center since allegedly shooting Deputy Cliff Dicker in the head last December.
His attorneys argued the juvenile system is where he should stay.
Defense psychologists testified Wheeler is a product of a chaotic environment in which family members introduced him to drugs, alcohol, guns and sex by age 11.
His lawyers say he deserves a shot at rehabilitation through the therapy, education and structure juvenile detention can provide.

The National Transporation Safety Board has called for a nationwide inspection of 14-hundred rail crossings where road traffic signals are activated by approaching trains.
