told a judge at a pre-arraignment hearing, he had killed Rabin
because the late Prime Mininster was 'giving our country to the
Arabs" "we have to be cold hearted", he told the judge
Security is tight in Jerusalem today...ten thousand or more

But why security was so light the night of the assassination is
an unanswered question.... Rabin had been adressing tens of
thousands of his foillowers in a demonstration for peace... he

Glaise has accused incumbent Charles Hawkins of mostly representing the
interests of the wealthy.
Hawkins, however, dismisses the criticism.
TO SAY THAT I'M AN ELITIST IS PROBABLY REACHING FOR THE FURTHEST STRAW IN
THE HAYSTACK.
Like Glaise, Hawkins is a familiar face.
For 14 years, he's served in the legislature.
If re-elected, he says one of his goals will be keeping young people at
home.
FOR TOO LONG, WE'VE LOST GENERATION AFTER GENERATION TO THE CITIES.
RICHMOND, ROANOKE, WHEREVER TO FIND JOBS BECASUE WE'RE NOT ALLOWING OURSELVES

following a peace rally in Tel Aviv.
He will be buried thirty minutes from now in Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, his killer confessed to the crime earlier today in an Israeli
courtroom.

The Airforce launched a Titan-4 rocket early this morning carrying a one-
BILLION dollar Milstar communications satellite.

Milstar satellites initially were intended to provide secure, jam-free
communications during nuclear war. While critics say the satellites
are NO longer needed, SIX such relay stations are planned, the FIRST of which
was successfully launched last year.
Unlike most other communications satellites, Milstars can relay data from
satellite to satellite, eliminating the need for COSTLY ground stations around
the world.
The pentagon expects to spend just over 17-BILLION dollars on the Milstar
system between 19-92 and 2- thousand- 11.

In Louisville Kentucky yesterday, an 84- year-old hotel CRUMBLED to the
ground.
Hundreds of onlookers watched the implosion.
The ten story hotel was destroyed to make room for the expansion of a
convention center.
City officials say dismantling the building would have cost millions of
dollars.
This was the third building in downtown Louisville to be brought down in two
years.

Last Monday, he turned himself into authorities investigating the shooting
death of Lavina Scales.
Prosecutors in this case want to try Helms as an adult.

Some say the system waits too long to intervene, giving juvenile offenders
little or no punishment for their early offenses.

Looks like the Cleveland Browns are getting alot of support from the city of
Baltimore.
The N-F-L team and the Maryland Stadium Authority are expected to hold a
joint news conference today to announce that the Browns will move to Baltimore
for the 19-96 season.
Meantime, let's see how the Browns did yesterday against Houston.
