Her husband, 35- year old Raleigh Dean Martin is charged in the murder.

The bodies of 32- year old Joseph Siff-ert, Junior and his girlfriend, 42- year old Barbara Hackney were recovered from a nearby home.

in Chatham this morning, six foot 10 center Melvin Whitaker signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Virginia.
Whitaker, who spent the 1994-95 season at Oak Hill Academy, did not have the S-A-T scores to qualify for a Division One Scholarship back in June.
But his post graduate work has improved and Whitaker expects to make the necessary scores this time. Roy Stanley will have more on Whitaker at six.
