In a Tel Aviv courtroom this morning, two suspects, one accussed of taking
part in Rabin's murder.
It was not immediately clear what role police think Droradani played in the
killing but this is the first time police have hinted the assassin may have had
an accomplice not just in planning but in committing the
crime.
The second suspect is accused of knowing in advance about the attack, and
failing to prevent it..under Israeli law, almost as serious a charge as murder
itself.
Yesterday police searched the family home of gunman Yigal Amir..Amir's
brother is among those being held...his parents have written a letter to
Rabin's family, begging forgiveness...
Rabin's successor Shimon Peres has pledged full speed ahead on peace
negotiations...today britian's top diplomat, gave him the latest news from
syria's presient..a deal with syria would be a key piece in the puzzle. Peres
has said he'll use the full year left in Rabin's term.....to finish the work he
and his late partner started.

In other developments, Israel's Justice Ministry has named an official
commission of inquiry into the assassination.
The three-member panel will have powers of subpoena.
And Israel's secret service is reportedly looking into a possible link
between the killing and radical rabbis.
An Israeli paper says the rabbis may have given moral or religious approval
