Two separate car accidents in Campbell County have taken two lives.

Shortly after three o'clock, the driver of a minivan lost control of the
vehicle on Route 24 and slid into a schoolbus.
State police say 33- year- old Laura Glass Barringer apparently had braked
for the bus's red lights when she veered into the other lane.
Barringer was pronounced dead on arrival at Lynchburg General Hospital.
The 45 students on the bus were not injured.

Police say they shot 25-year-old Orbin Smith in his home following an armed
robbery last month.

Ward and 18- year- old Harden Ward.
Both are from Prince George County, Maryland.
In addition to Smith's murder, the two are wanted in connection with an
armed robbery at a Henry County apartment house.

activity.
