Bedford County authorities are looking for the driver of car involved in an accident with a train last night.

It happened at about 11:30, near the main entrance to the Georgia Pacific paper mill near Big Island.
A C-S-X freight train was headed east when it collided with this four- door Chevrolet, pushing it several hundred yards down the track.
Police say the driver of the car was nowhere to be found when they arrived on the scene.
The car is owned by the National Car Rental agency.

Public Safety Secretary Jerry Kilgore tells NEWS-7 that he'll release some details of an internal audit into the conduct of the entire board today.

The most serious of those allegations involves the possible back-dating of warrants to arrest parolees for parole violations AFTER their parole periods had expired.
But a source within the Administration says other allegations specifically about Metzger include sexual and racial harassment directed at other parole board members.

Other opponents of the Blacksburg to Roanoke link say it's a waste of money.

Congress has agreed on a final version of the measure and now it goes to the President.

He says it was just part of being a cop.

He rescued 68- year- old Marie Brown who was trapped inside, just before the car windows exploded. Brown escaped without injury.
