State Parole Board Chairman John Metzger says he stepping down becuase of what he calls irreconcilable differences with other board members.
His announcement comes as he is being investigated on allegations of sexual and racial harrassment and manipulating parole warrants.
The only thing that Metzger will admit to is that he told sexual jokes to fellow board members.

The Roanoke County School Board gives the nod to a new Cave Spring High School.
The board last night approved a consultant's plan to build the 33-million dollar school on Merriman Road.
Final approval rests in the hands of the county board of supervisors.
Both boards will soon get together to discuss whether or not seek funding through a bond referendum.
If all goes as planned, the school will open by 19-99.
