The prosecution asked the court to delay the trial of two Roanoke Sheriff's
deputies charged with the sexual assault of a Roanoke woman.
Special Prosecutor Bob Bushnell told the court this morning that the alleged
victim is expecting twins and she believes one of the accused is the father.

Neighbors, sexually assaulted her after she asked them for a ride home from a
bar.
The two were in court this morning for a preliminary hearing.

for a day in early December.

Administration audit was made public and turned over to State Police.
But John Metzger says he did not commit a crime.
He says he's just guilty of irreconcilable differences with other parole

The Consumer Product Safety Commisison has issued a recall for children's
bed rails made by the company "Safety First."
The company says it's receved more than 50 reports of children getting hurt
when they fell out of bed because the supports on the Model 177 rail separated.
It's offering to replace the questionable rails with a newer model.
The government says more than 191-thousand of the problem rails were sold
nationwide between January 19-94 and June 19-95.
