And thanks to some quick- thinking neighbors, no one was injured in an
early morning fire in Montgomery County.
At about three o'clock, neighbors saw smoke coming from the home of Edith
Parker.
One neighbor entered the house to wake the two people inside.
Others threw water on the flames and used fire extinguishers to keep the
fire under control until firefighters arrived.
Investigators say it was probably caused by an electrical problem.

An East coast hockey league alumnus has landed a head coaching job in the
N-H-L.
Dave Allison was named the new head coach of the Ottawa Senators yesterday.
He replaces Rick Bowness, who was fired.
Allison had coached the Virginia Lancers and the Richmond Renegades.
