The F-D-A has approved a new drug to fight one of the most lethal forms of leukemia-- a rare, aggressive form of the disease, causing sudden and serious internal bleeding.
A study of 15-hundred patients found the drug Vesanoid caused complete remission in half of the leukemia sufferers who relapsed after standard therapy.
Vesanoid works by causing the leukemia cells to age rapidly and die off.
The body then replaces them with normal cells.
