brokered peace plan for Bosnia.
In a televised address to the nation last night, Mr. Clinton said he'll
assume full responsibility for any casualties of the estimated 20-thousand
U-S troops that would take part of the peacekeeping force.

Following the speech, senate majority leader bob dole said he wants to
support the president.

But the reality is the president is commander in chief.

Anthony Donnely was riding Sunday on a bowling alley's float when he fell
off and was run over by a rear wheel.

The Hollins College community is in SHOCK after learning a student was
MURDERED in her Fairfax county home over Thanksgiving.
Authorities are investigating Ann Harper's death as BOTH a case of homicide
and arson.

Halifax County authorities say the ALLEGED gunman in a FATAL shooting turned
himself in at the scene.

section of the county at about 10- Sunday night.
Authorities say 21- year old Damon Lamont Crews was shot with a handgun,
18- year old Tywan Otey Brown has been arrested.
Authorities say the shooting stemmed from an argument.
Brown is in the Halifax County jail.

Authorities believe 33- year old Richard Scott Powell of Eden, North
Carolina was shot inside his pick- up early Saturday morning in Sandy Level.
Police say a wounded Powell and his passenger then fled to Rockingham
County, North Carolina.

A passer-by discovered Powell slumped over dead in his truck along Route
7-70 later that day.
Authorities hope now that they've located Powell's passenger, they'll be able
to confirm what happened.

patient's room because it feared someone was stealing from her.
Instead, it caught James Gary NOW-lin in the act of fondling the patient.

The day after the surveillance camera was put in place- -the occupational
therapist went into the 19-year old woman's room and sexually molested her.
Though she is unable to speak, the prosecutor says the victim does have some
sense of her surroundings at times.
NOW-lin yesterday did not contest the charges against him.
He faces up to ten years in prison when he's sentenced for attempted
aggravated sexual battery.
