A Nelson County man says he spent 17 years working as one of the C-I-A's psychic spies.
Joe McMoneagle confirms the program took place in Maryland.
The U.S. secretly used psychics in attempts to hunt down Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, find plutonium in North Korea, and help drug enforcement agencies.
The government spent 20-million dollars on the program.

Gus Vlahos (vuh-LAW-hose) was suing Doris Sheppard for 10- million dollars.
The terms of the settlement are not being disclosed, with the exception of Sheppard's public apology.
Sheppard stated in her apology that she found a document in her newspaper box claiming Vlahos had tested H-I-V positive at Montgomery Regional Hospital.
She says she made copies and distributed them at her place of employment.
Sheppard apologized for any inconvenience or embarrassment her actions caused the dentist.

Authorities in West Virginia and Virginia are searching today for a small plane that was headed for Lynchburg, but never arrived.
A spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration says officials aren't sure what happened since the plane disappeared last night.
The name of the pilot has not been released.
He was flying from Braxton County Airport in a Cessna 4-14 when he lost radio contract with flight controllers in Elkins.
The plane's route would take it over George Washington National Forest.
Search planes are covering the entire route of the flight.

17-year-old Chris Gammon and his older brother Willie are accused of shooting their father and stepmother a year ago.
Gary Gammon died and his wife was critically injured in the home they shared with Gary's sons.

But the prosecutor says Chris was read his rights and gave his statement without asking for anyone to be with him.

After 15 years in courts in two countries, a dispute over a five-dollar restaurant charge is back where it started, in Charlottesville.
Once again the owner of the now-defunct Mousetrap restaurant and its manager are suing Denis O'Brien, a former U-V-A graduate student.
O'Brien was arrested in 19-80 for refusing to pay the fee for losing a blank bar tab.
He had bought nothing.
Since then, O'Brien and the restaurant owner and manager have been suing one another.
