All three adults were taken to Martinsville hospital where they were treated and released for smoke inhalation.

The two men who had just robbed the First Virginia bank were escaping on foot when a dye pack in their bag of money exploded.
Pickeral was able to recover some of the cash, but the suspects got away.
A plastic grocery bag with red dye on it was found a few blocks away but the bank robbers trail had gone cold.
This was Lynchburg's second robbery in two days, and third this month.

The suspects in today's robbery are described as two black males... one is about six feet tall, and was wearing a blue sweatshirt with a white turtleneck and a blue baseball hat.

This afternoon Alabama players listened intently as a member of the infractions committee told them via telephone hookup that the third year of their probation was taken away and nine scholarships were being reinstated.
However, you see the reaction when they were told they were still barred from bowl games this year and next.

As for the University of Miami and the ten violations hanging over the Hurricanes' heads - the NCAA and the University confirmed last night that a decision has been reached and an announcement will come this afternoon at one o'clock news conference.
Sources in Miami say they expect to Canes to get at least one years probation, and maybe two.
They also say it extremely likely Miami will be barred from postseason play this year.
And that should slide Tech right onto Bourbon street for the Sugar Bowl.
