A manhunt is underway in Giles County at this hour as police search for an
armed robber.
Police already have three men in custody.
They believe the men robbed two convenience stores at gunpoint earlier this
evening.
One of the suspects was apprehended walking along Route 460 in Pembroke.
The others were discovered when they pulled their car over on River Road in
the Commissary Hill area of Giles County.
One man surrendered to police.
The other was found hiding in a ditch holding a gun to his head.
Authorities are currently searching Commissary Hill with blood hounds for a
fourth man believed to be armed.
He is said to be dressed in dark pants, a flannel jacket and cowboy boots.
Meanwhile police in Blacksburg are also investigating an apparent abduction
at the Heathwood Express convenience store.

We now have an update on our lead story.
Montgomery county authorities have recovered a body in the McCoy section of
the county.
They believe it could be related to the abduction at gunpoint earlier this
evening from the Hethwood (HEETH- WOOD) Express Convenience store in
Blacksburg.
As we told you earlier, several suspects are in custody in Giles County.
They are also being questioned in relation to the abduction.
We have a crew on the scene-- and we'll have more details as the story
develops on News 7 Mornin.
