A West Virginia jury has awarded a man nearly EIGHT MILLION dollars in damages because his EX-fiancee gave up their child for adoption.
The boy's father accused the woman and her family of defrauding him out of his parental rights.
The child was adopted by a family in Alberta, Canada, where an unmarried father has no parental rights unless he lived with the mother for at least a year prior to the birth.

The so-called Pillowcase Rapist, who terrorized hundreds of Southern California women is now a FREE man.
Reginald Muldrew was linked to 200 sex crimes in California in the 19-70's.
Officials say Muldrew had served his MAXIMUM time behind bars and remained in prison for his entire parole period, so he HAD to be released.
Muldrew immediately left California upon his release, and headed for Las Vegas.
Muldrew earned his nickname because he put pillowcases over his victims' heads to conceal his identity.
A prison spokesperson says Muldrew suffers from a mental disorder that STILL makes him dangerous.

Meanwhile, a federal appeals court in Richmond will review the Clinton administration's ``don't ask, don't tell'' policy on gays in the military.
All 13 full-time judges of the Fourth U-S Circuit Court of Appeals are to hear the case starting today.
The case involves former Navy Lieutenant Paul Thomasson, who claims he was wrongfully discharged after he told his commander he was gay.
