A new study indicates the elderly and uninsured are taking the hit for prescription drug discounts given to people in H-M-0's.
The report is for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.
It says companies deeply discount drugs to managed health care plans and make up for it by charging others more.
But a spokesman for a pharmaceutical research group says the whole study is biased.
He notes drug store chains have filed suit seeking the same discounts the H-M-O's are getting and suggests that's the motivation behind the study's findings.

Eight countries plan to release postage stamps today to honor John Lennon on the 15th anniversary of his death.

A wayward manatee that has won the hearts of many has a new home and a new name.

"Hugh" Manatee arrived at Sea World of San Antonio last night.
The animal was caught in a Houston bayou where it had strayed from the Gulf of Mexico.
Animal experts are scheduled to do tests on the manatee to find out if it is from Florida or Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.
They hope to return it to its natural habitat.
By the way, since it was captured it was learned that "Hugh" is not a boy--but a girl.
Now the animal has been renamed "Selena" in honor of the Tejano singer who died earlier this year.
