A Roanoke County woman is dead and a teenager charged with aggravated
involuntary manslaughter following an accident last night.

Good Evening this is NEWS-7 at FIVE, I'm Jean Jadhon.
A 45-year old school teacher was struck and killed by a 16-year old boy as
she walked the quiet streets of her own neighborhood last night.
SUPER=03-Roanoke Co./Last Night
The accident happened around 8:30 just a couple of blocks from Bonnie
Kitts' house in the Woodbridge subdivision.
She and her husband were out walking- -as they did nearly every evening-
-when they heard the sound of the approaching car.
The car windshield struck Bonnie and carried her some distance.
The driver of the car has also been charged with driving under the
influence. We're not naming him because of his age.
Friends of the family say the boy goes to school with the victim's son.
The two boys are both on the tennis team.
Bonnie Kitts was a teacher of home-bound children in Salem and Roanoke

Because so many people needed treatment, emergency crews ordered a schoolbus

The gunman who attacked an Ohio trucking company was apparently a
disgruntled former employee.
The Cincinnati Post identifies the shooter as Gerald Lee Clemons.
The gunman walked into the offices of Trans- Continental Systmes and began

Two people were killed- and a third victim is undergoing surgery.
After the shooting the man surrendered to police.
He is reportedly in his fifties-
A woman who escaped the shooting say the suspect was a fired truck driver.
