The courts will decide next week if the teenage driver involved in Thursday's fatal accident will be tried as an adult.
Earlier this week, a Henry County judge moved the case against 16- year- old- Tommy Helms from Juvenile to Circuit Court.
This is the second time this year a case against a teenager accused of murder has been moved out of the juvenile system.
The Juvenile Justice System has been under scrutiny during the past year.
And lawmakers say some changes are in the works for the next General Assembly Session.
Denise Allen reports.

And the case against another 16-year-old, Christopher Shawn Wheeler, has also been moved to Circuit Court.
Wheeler is charged with the murder of a Wythe County sheriff's deputy last December.
In Virginia, juveniles can be tried as an adult when they're 14.
The governor's Committee on Juvenile Justice Reform would like to see all juvenile defendants, 14 and older, who are charged with a violent crime be automatically tried as adults.
Currently a judge makes that decision.
And many say it should stay that way.

The governor's reform plan would cost more than 60 million dollars for juvenile facilities.
A study done by the Commission on Youth found that Virginians feel the juvenile justice system should focus on rehabilitation.

Workers say smaller case-loads would allow them give teenagers the help they need to turn their lives around.
