The full effect will be felt tomorrow when 260-thousand workers will be sent
home.

price.

For now the Lodge and Restaurant remain open.

The Peaks of Otter Lodge is privately owned, but it's on government land.
That's why owners had to close during the last shutdown.
That weekend the lodge was fully booked.

Rangers are supposed to report to work Monday to find out if they're being
furloughed.
Managers at the Peaks of Otter Lodge say they're keeping everybody working
as long as government allows them to remain open.

A vehicle accident near Iron Gate this afternoon sent two people to the
hospital.

Timothy Kidd of Vinton was travelling south when he ran into the northbound
lane.
He struck a vehicle driven by Brenda Lugar of Covington.
Kidd told state police he thought his child was choking in the backseat.
Before he realized it, he had crossed over into the other lane.
Both the drivers were taken to Alleghany Regional Hospital where they were
treated and released.

Last night, tyson knocked out Buster Mathis. Iron Mike made his way to the
ring in his usual basic attire; wearing only a cut off shirt, black trunks and
black shoes.
Mathis appeared out of shape for the fight and would soon suffer his first
professional defeat.
At 2 minutes, 32 second of the third round the former champ dropped Buster
to the canvas with an upper cut, Mathis did not beat the count and Tyson wins
by KO. Tyson has made an official announcement that he will challenge Bruno for
the WBC title.
