After deliberating for three hours, a jury found the Roanoke man guilty of first degree murder and arson.

State Police say a Pearisburg woman wasn't wearing a seatbelt when she wrecked her pickup truck this afternoon.
The accident killed the woman- 27 year old Victoria Michelle Johnson.
The crash happened on Route 460 near the Town of Narrows.
State Police say Johnson was driving West on 460 when she ran off the right side of the road, crossed back to the left, struck a guardrail and went over an embankment.
Johnson died a few hours later at the hospital.

Last night the Associated Press selected Haskins to the first team! The Football Gazette named him to the second team. The Junior rushed for a VMI school record 1 thousand, 548 yards this season and scored 17 touchdowns, also a school record. He was the Southern Conference offensive player of the year.

The queen reportedly is telling Charles and Di it's time to break it off.
The Sun newspaper reports that Queen Elizabeth wrote letters to her son and daughter-in-law, saying they should divorce soon.
British Independent News confirms the report, and quotes the prince's spokesman as saying Charles has agreed.
Prince Charles and Princess Diana have been separated for three years.
The queen apparently expresses anger and frustration in the letter- over the royal couple's publicly aired disagreements.
