Bosnian Serbs are asking to delay the reunification of Sarajevo for at least three months.
Under the terms of the Bosnian peace accord, Sarajevo is to be placed under Muslim-Croat (KROH'-at) control beginning January 19th.
But Serbs in sections of Sarajevo are against the move.
The U-S commander of NATO peacekeepers in Bosnia has the power to consider a delay, and says he told the Serbs he would.
Meantime, heavy rain has delayed the erection of the pontoon bridge over the river Sava which marks the border between Croatia and Bosnia.

Meantime, engineers dragged equipment through a muddy quagmire along the shore in preparation for the erection of the bridge.

If Dean Martin ever carred what others thought, it was never apparant in his public image. He built a rare career on unruffled charm.
Martin's first job on the night club circuit was delivering bootleg liquer to bars around Steubonville, Ohio, where he was the son of an immigrant barber.
Friends pushed him to perform because they like his Bing Crosby imitation.
Martin's career really started to take off when he began horsing around on stage with a young comedian who sometimes babysat his children, Jerry Lewis.
Meeting Jerry Lewis was the first of his two big breaks, Martin later said...Leaving him after playing straight man for ten years was the second.
