Police in Roanoke say a woman was found dead in the back seat of her car this afternoon.
A friend reported 34-year-old Vickie Ross missing last night.

Ross' vehicle was found on Peach Tree Drive in Roanoke.
Someone noticed her body in the back seat and called police.
The resident says the woman's clothes were in disarray and she appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
Police had been looking for Ross after a friend told them she saw Ross' estranged husband drive away from Vickie's home at a high rate of speed.

The soldier suffered a fractured, right lower leg-- and injuries to his right foot.

He is reported to be in stable condition.

That was three years ago, but Lisa actually suffered with the symptoms for several years before doctors at Johns Hopkins diagnosed her.
Parkinson's Disease affects one million people in the United States, more than multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy combined.
It's a progressive disorder of the nervous system.
Patients lose nerve cells in the brain and the chemical dopamine which carries messages from one nerve cell to another.
Parkinson's disease causes stiffness of the arms, legs and sometimes the neck.
Tremors of the arms and legs and slowness of movement are also symptoms.

Mornings are the hardest times for both Sheila and Lisa.
It takes about two hours for their medication to take effect.
Since being diagnosed Lisa has not been able to attend school regularly.
When her illness acts up, she's homebound and has to be tutored. ((LISA: I CAN'T WRITE AND I TIRE EASILY.)) ((SHEILA: STATISTICS SAY YOU HAVE 20 YEARS BEFORE THE DISEASE CAUSES MAJOR PROBLEMS. The Fosters want to help others have a brighter future.
With their doctor's help they're organizing a support group for people who are working and trying to raise a family while fighting Parkinson's Disease.
