Hospital officials say 69- year old Recie (REESIE) Clay died yesterday.
She was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, DeRoy (DEE-Roy) Clay.
The Clay's grandson was also in the car.
Both are recovering from their injuries.
The couple's vehicle collided Sunday afternoon with a Brosville-Cascade Volunteer fire truck at the intersection of Route 58 and 622 in Pittsylvania County.
State police say the fire truck was on the way to a fire call.
No charges have been filed.

They arrived on board a giant C-17 military cargo plane.

Well the Richmond Planning Commission knows exactly where the design for a sculpture of Arthur Ashe is, but now it says it's NOT so sure it likes it.
So the commission has decided to consider an international competition to design ANOTHER statue of the tennis star.
