execution of 1996.
Roanoke and Franklin County authorities had believed the 1985 stabbing
murder of Charles W. Bousman, Junior to be a sort of hate crime against a man
his attackers believed to be homosexual.
Tonight, the man who helped Walter Correll convert to Catholicism says he
knew nothing about what motivated this crime -- and would NOT speak to
Correll's guilt or innocence.
