In honor of Martin LUther KIng day a number of NBA and NHL matinees were held today across the country.
Up in Landover, Maryland at the US Air Arena, the Bulls misfired the Bullets 116-to-109.

The Bullets dressed only 10 players today, and that was bad news for Washington fans as Scottie Pippen blows down the lane on the left side and rams in the one handed jam. Pippen had 27.
But the main man was Michael Jordan who followed up Saturday night's 48 point explosion with 46 today.
Michael had 19 points in the first quarter, and he then added 19 more in the fourth.
Look at the two handed throwdown!!
The Bulls win it 116-to- 109 this afternoon.

In Bedford, they've taken it a step further... now senior citizens are volunteering their time at the sheriff's department.
They're helping with clerical duties, which is freeing up deputies for more important jobs like patrolling the roads.
