The young woman's body was discovered on a roadside in October.

A judge, however, declined to make a ruling because a psychiatric exam has not been completed.

He must also pay more than nine- thousand dollars in restitution .
Meanwhile, authorities still don't know what Spangler did with the food stamps he received.
