No one was hurt when the teen allegedly pulled a 12 inch hunting knife on the driver and forced her to take him to Salem.

The Medical Examiner says 18-year old Grayson Hooper of Salem died of atrial (Mix-oma) myxoma. A tumor on his heart was blocking the flow of blood.

Hooper was a captain of the North Cross Football team. He died about 45 minutes after a short run around the school's indoor track.
Hooper had complained of not feeling well.

A former part- time Henry County Sheriff's Deputy has been indicted on embezzlement charges.
State police say Joseph Wayne Mundy worked as an independent insurance agent in the Henry County area.
They say Mundy allegedly collected premiums on policies, and then kept the money.
The Henry County Grand Jury this week indicted him on 15 counts of embezzlement.

A space heater apparently sparked a blaze that killed an elderly Madison Heights man.

Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control quickly, but not before they discovered the body of 77- year- old George Overstreet inside.

Memorial services for Grayson Hooper are planned for tomorrow.
Meanwhile as his family and friends continue to mourn, Hooper's death has meant new hope for many people.
He was a tissue donor-- a form of donation that can help up to 125 people.
The procedure can supply corneas, it can help burn victims, and is also used in orthopedic and neurological surgeries.

Melody Ann Caldwell suffered severe brain damage in an auto accident only to die in a house fire.
The 20- year- old victim was in a special hospital-type bed that may have actually started the fire.
Without admitting any liability, Maxwell products will pay more than half a million dollars.
Caldwell's mother stands to collect more than a quarter of a million. Cheryl Smith is the woman who got into a public dispute over whether she should be allowed to plant flowers on Melody's grave.
