Simpson appeared relaxed and candid during the television interview.
An intense legal interview occupied most of Simpson's day.
But this time Kim Goldman was under orders to stay out of the deposition
room.
Simpson's lawyers asked she be kept from the room.
They won.
So now she's near the room and watches Simpson as he passes by.

But she says she and the family are also determined to battle O.J. Simpson
to the end.
They did lose a minor skirmish.
A judge decided the Goldman and Brown families cannot have access to O.J.

A hazing incident prompts Virginia Tech to suspend seven members of the
corps of cadet for two semesters.
University spokesman Larry Hincker says a cadet filed a complaint with the
university after the incident in early December.
The seven students admitted their involvement without going through the
judicial process.
Hincker says the students dropped off a fellow cadet in a remote area of
Montgomery County, forcing him to find his way home.
Hincker says there was potential for harm to the student because it happened
on an extremely cold night.

This week C-B-S sports spent the day at the Cassell and will feature the
Hokies this weekend.

The final laps of preseason testing for both GM and Ford products wrapped up
yesterday at Daytona.
And surprisingly a Ford turned the fastest lap afterall.

Jeremy Mayfield, in Cale Yarborough's Thunderbird turned a lap at 188 point
971 miles an hour.
Terry Labonte finished up second fastest, with teammate Ken Schrader third,
Michael Waltrip in the Woods Brothers Ford was 4th and Sterling Marlin 5th
fastest.

Supercenter in the Roanoke Valley opened today.
For other folks, the grand opening offered the chance at becomming a Walmart
