Police say icy road conditions led to a fatal accident involving a White
Sulphur Springs teenager.
They say 19-year-old Courtney Rexrode was driving west on Interstate 64 in
Alleghany County early last night when the crash occurred.
A tractor trailer -- also heading west -- hit some ice when it tried to
avoid an ANOTHER accident and jacknifed, blocking the road.
Rexrode rounded a curve and went under the trailer.
She died at the scene.

It was the year, the football team secured a state title.
J-J Powell was on the winning team.
But today he's among several players who've found themselves at odds with
the law.

Robert Clark was the first of three players to run into serious trouble.
Two years after winning the state title, he was convicted of Capital Murder.
Larry Smith coached the team to victory.

George Boyd was later acquitted.
But he was convicted of petty larceny for his role in the crime.
It's too early to tell what will become of J- J Powell.
The former team member wanted for the county's latest murder has yet to be
apprehended.
