The Sheriff's Department says the incident then carried over to a trailer
park in Franklin County where Moore was stabbed once in the chest by Dudley
with a large knife.
Hunt says Moore died at Roanoke Memorial Hospital yesterday morning.
Dudley is being held without bond at the Franklin County jail.
Police also say Dudley is currently on probation for an unlawful wounding
incident that occurred in 1992.
Police are searching for a Danville high school student wanted for murder.
He's charged with shooting and killing another student last night.

Officials at the National Center for Juvenile Justice say the number of
teens charged with murder continues to rise.
Figures taken in 1993 indicate in Virginia-- 14-percent of all murder
arrests involve juveniles between the ages of 10 and 17.
The national average is higher than Virginia--by two percent.

A man who paid a fortune teller 65-thousand dollars for lottery numbers has
won a judgment against Palm Reader Lola Miller- -better known as Miss Stella.
She's long gone, having served 12-months in a federal prison and shut down
her business on Williamson Road.
She was no where to be seen when the claim against came up in court today.
Warren Smith of Glade Hill testified in her absence that Miller had
convinced him to withdraw ten's of thousands of dollars from savings until he
finally started drawing on his retirement money.
The unemployed tire maker said Miller assured him money wouldn't be a
problem, predicting that he would win three million dollars with the lottery
numbers she had gotten for him "from God."

It happened at the Patrick Henry Apartments apparantly after an argument
between a man and a woman.
