But authorities still don't know what lead to the dispute.

Sheriff's investigators were called to State Road 969 in Callands (CAL-unds) at around 10-30.
They say Keith Harris was shot once in the lower abdomen.
He's hospitalized in stable condition.
Authorities believe Harris was fighting with another man when he was shot.
Carl McKinley was treated and released for wounds to his upper body.

Pittsylvania County authorities are also investigating an apparent stabbing yesterday at a home in the Ringgold community.
One person was taken into custody for questioning.
A woman and small child were taken to the hospital, authorities say they were both cut.
Investigators don't have a motive.

The I-T-T Night Vision plant in Roanoke County had nearly one-thousand employees at the height of the Gulf War.

But smaller military contracts for its night vision equipment have reduced I-T-T's workforce to roughly 650.
Now there's word that more cutbacks could be on the way.
Sources tell News-7 that I-T-T may trim its workforce by as much as 90 people in the coming weeks.

A company in Roanoke County is dealing with a sinkhole in its parking lot.

The hole damaged both sewer and power lines.
