Governor Allen has declared a state of emergency in Virginia and put 150
National Guard troops on alert for weekend service in areas hit hardest by
the storm.

over 40 people to the hospital.

The VMI winter track and field relays are cancelled.
And tomorrow's Methodist at Ferrum Dixie conference basketball game has been
postponed until February 19th.
