18- year- old Valerie Cole of Manassas was discovered dead around 10:30 this
Radford officials say Cole was last seen by another resident of Peery Hall
earlier at four.

A recent fatal fire in Roanoke has sped up the development of a new rental
inspection program for the city.
The city has been working on the proposal with landlords, tenants and
neighborhood groups for the past year.
The program would take place in the older areas near the heart of the city.

The program is new to Salem.
And the open house provided residents with a peak at what's to come when the
facility opens later this month.
The indoor heated pool will be used for water aerobics, youth swim classes
and water arthritis therapy.
